As promised, here are the details for our much anticipated Grilled Cheese and Beer Pairing Dinner!  This event will be held Monday, January 26th, 6-9pm.  This amazing evening will feature 6 coursesof the most delectable grilled cheese sandwiches you’ve ever tasted paired with some very special craft brews.  Cost is $60 per person or bring a friend and get the special price of $100 for Two!  Check out the menu below and start drooling!  Then call the shop to reserve your spot – 737-4078.

Appetizer Course:  Grilled Carr Valley Bread Cheese slices drizzled with honey/nut topping.
Beer Pairing:  Ballast Point Sculpin – India Pale Ale

First Course:  Fresh, creamy Burrata grilled open-faced on Kalamata olive bread with roasted red peppers, arugula and drizzled balsamic vinegar accompanied by crisp cornichon pickles, caperberries and mixed olives.
Beer Pairing:  Dogfish Head Namaste – Wit brewed with orange slices, lemongrass, coriander and peppercorns

Second Course:  Cave-Aged Swiss Gruyère with caramelized onions and fig mustard accompanied by puréed butternut squash.  Beer Pairing:  Unibroue Maudite – Belgian-style Red Ale

Third Course:  The Classic!  Sharp Irish and American Cheddars, crisp smoky bacon with mustard and mayo accompanied by creamy tomato soup.
Beer Pairing:  Deschutes Mirror Mirror – Barleywine aged in wine barrels

Fourth Course:   Gettin’ Crazy!  Molé slaw, Dry Jack, chicharones and pea shoots on chocolate bread accompanied by blistered shishito peppers.
Beer Pairing:  Great Basin Mayan Maybe Not – Old Style Ale brewed with cocoa nibs, molasses, honey, vanilla beans and chile peppers.

Dessert Course:    Beer Floats featuring Lindeman’s Framboise Raspberry Lambic with dark chocolate gelato accompanied by crisp Belgian Almond Cookies.
